Each week I will list my top GPP quarterback and top Cash Game quarterback to use in your DFS lineups on FanDuel. Below are this week’s options.

Mariota has had a rough season (to say the least). I imagine plenty of season-long redraft players (in 1QB leagues) have even dropped him after his performance against Pittsburgh. In short, I don’t think casual players will click his name.

He draws a matchup against the Indianapolis Colts this week, who he threw for 306 yards against earlier this season. And in that game, Mariota was playing with limited mobility and could barely move. He had zero rushing yards in that contest, though. Luckily for Mariota and plenty of other Titans, they have had a long week after playing on Thursday night. This should be the healthiest we have seen this team in awhile.

The Colts are allowing the sixth-most Fanduel points to quarterbacks this season and they rank 27th in DVOA against the pass. They are allowing the highest Y/A in the NFL and are allowing the third-most passing yards per game. I think there is a decent chance this game shoots out, as the Titans are allowing the 11th-most passing yards per game. The total opened at 44.5 and has quickly moved to 46, with the line moving to TEN as a 3-point road favorite. They are in the dome, with no weather concerns, with a total moving up, and two teams with little passing defense. I want heavy exposure to this game. And if Mariota poops the bed again he will go into my never, ever list for 2017.

I generally don’t pay up for quarterbacks in DFS, but Russ is going to be impossible to ignore in cash games. He is the only quarterback in the league right now who can legitimately throw for 300 yards and run for 100. Wilson has over 75 rushing yards in two of his last three games. He has also thrown multiple passing touchdowns in five straight games, with over 250 passing yards in four games over that span. He is their leading rusher in that time frame and is essentially the entire Seahawks offense.

The 49ers defense is allowing the third-most Fanduel points to the QB position and they are allowing the most to the RB position. Russ is both. The 49ers have allowed multiple touchdown passes in five straight games. They also allowed a rushing touchdown to all three of Dak, Cousins, and Brissett. The Seahawks defense is not playing well enough to shut down the 49ers at this point. Seattle is only a 6.5-point favorite and that is low enough to keep me on Russ. I think he is the top scoring QB on the slate, but he is only priced as the QB3.
